Buying Guide

Keeping your above-ground pool clean is easy with the right vacuum. From cordless handhelds to automatic robots, there’s a tool for every need.

Choosing the best above-ground pool vacuum makes cleaning effortless. Here’s what to consider:

Pool Size:
Pick a vacuum that matches your pool’s size. Larger pools need longer poles or wider coverage.
Debris Type:
Decide if you’re cleaning leaves, sand, or small debris. Some vacuums handle all types, while others specialize.
Power Source:
Cordless vacuums offer flexibility, but check battery life. Corded models provide consistent power but limit movement.
Suction Power:
Look for strong suction to remove debris quickly. Higher GPM (gallons per minute) means better performance.
Runtime:
Choose a vacuum with enough runtime to clean your pool in one go. 60–120 minutes is ideal for most pools.
Ease of Use:
Lightweight, ergonomic designs make cleaning comfortable. Telescopic poles and adjustable heads add convenience.
Maintenance:
Opt for vacuums with easy-to-clean filters and quick-drain systems. Removable parts simplify upkeep.
Budget:
Balance features with cost. Cordless and robotic vacuums are pricier but save time and effort.

With these factors in mind, you’ll find the perfect vacuum for a sparkling pool all season.
